We are a bunch of tech-savvy, sales professionals with over 20 years of Sales, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) experience. We feel that it isn’t enough to be great at SEM; you also have to be great at closing sales. See, without experience in sales how can we effectively understand our clients products and services and how they market them. Without imagination it is impossible to create the ultimate marketing campaign. We have to understand your business, and then use our sales experience to make suggestions and changes that will impact and increase your bottom line.

“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand."
Albert Einstein

We didn’t start off as an Advertising Marketing & Management company. Au contraire (to the contrary), we were originally a sales company using PPC and SEM to enhance our traditional marketing strategies using the internet.

We started using our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) skills so our listings would appear on all the different search engines. This was a time consuming process that literally took months to achieve results. But we did start to see results. But we wanted more!

Somewhere around 1996 we noticed some of the search engines were offering a flat fee to get listed. We eventually located a company that was using a combination of SEO and PPC to get results on the major search engines. We got on board. This was definitely a faster and easier way to get listed and attract more customers. It took some work and improvements to our website, plus a couple of months to get listed, but when we did, we could barely keep up with the sales.

Back then it cost us only $.25 cents a click-through with a maximum cost of only $800 per month, no matter how much traffic we had. We were doing so well that DIRECTV called one day and wanted to know how we were able to get our listing above theirs in the search engines. The secret to our success was that we researched the keywords we were using and found that people didn’t know how to spell “DIRECTV” or “satellite” properly. Since their service was so new, there were more people who misspelled it than those who didn’t.

Our story begins in the fall of 1994 when we started selling DIRECTV satellite equipment and services. We were running full-page advertising on the back of the Fort Lauderdale, Sun Sentinel newspaper every Sunday. We were in flyers and magazines, radio and TV. It just wasn’t enough.

The internet was beginning to come alive with different advertising options.  AOL had their banner campaigns, Yahoo! had theirs. There were other search engines with interesting names like Excite, AltaVista, Lycos, WebCrawler even DogPile. There were literally hundreds of them popping up.

We used keywords like direct tv, directtv, directtv satelite, satelite tv, etc. all misspelled. Even then, we knew the value of researching and selecting the proper keywords. Today keyword research and selection are one of the essential elements necessary to the success of your campaign.

By the end of 1996 we were the largest DIRECTV Authorized Dealer in the country. Our success was absolutely attributed to Pay-Per-Click and SEM advertising. With multiple locations, we grew from 10 employees to 167 and installed over 3,200 active customers monthly.

In 1998 a new search engine, Goto.com offered advertisers like us the option of how much we would be willing to pay to get listed at the top of the results page. This was considered to be the first auction-based, pay-per-click, search engine. During that same year AOL, in partnership with Hughes Network Systems, offered AOL PLUS, a satellite internet service and we were selected to be one of the first companies to have 13 of our tech-savvy employees become trained and certified in this new satellite internet technology.

In 2000 we saw a change in DIRECTV’s business model and their focus to move away from using DIRECTV Dealers and leaning more on CES’s (Consumer Electronic Stores) like Radio Shack, Best Buy and Circuit City. Eventually, all the named-brand DIRECTV equipment, RCA, SONY, HITACHI, HUGHES, etc. were completely replaced with DIRECTV’s own brand. We decided it was time to find another venture.

In 2001 with the internet becoming increasingly popular we concluded that there would be a lot more printing going on. Everything from recipes, school reports, photos, to just about any document imaginable. If you are going to print; you need ink! So, after some careful research and planning we started marketing printer cartridges from every major manufacturer.

These weren’t just any printer cartridges; these were brand new compatibles that were manufactured from scratch to the exact specifications of their original counterparts and at a tenth of their cost. With the cost of original cartridges going through the roof, it was a no wonder so many people were buying these.

By the end of 2006 we were pretty knowledgeable with AdWords and started consulting for other businesses who wanted to grow their business like we had. We realized that there were lots of businesses that could use our help.

There were several brands like Epson, Canon, Brother, HP, Lexmark, Xerox, etc. This really tested our abilities in the Search Engine Marketing arena. This was no longer one product and service like DIRECTV was. There were several manufacturers and literally thousands of printer models out there. Not to mention all the different cartridges that each printer used. We had to create multiple campaigns and thousands of keywords. It was a lot of work, but it paid off. We did over $4.3 million in sales that year.

In 2009 Congress signed a bill authorizing a 30% Federal Tax Credit on Solar Energy Products until 2016. Since we were living in Florida, “The Sunshine State”, we decided we should take advantage of this emerging market and “go green” and started selling all kinds of Solar Energy Systems. Using Google AdWords as the primary source of advertising we became one of the largest Solar Contractors in Florida.
